The Opportunity

As a Scaffolder, the main purpose of the role is to erect, dismantle and alter scaffold as part of a scaffolding team.

Key Responsibilities

• Select serviceable scaffold tubes, boards, and fittings, using them correctly and safely.
• Select, inspect, assemble, and install prefabricated beams into and onto scaffold structures.
• Erect scaffold safely and correctly.
• Select, space and install the correct amount of ties to restrain sheeted and un-sheeted scaffolds in unexposed areas, to current industry practices.
• Inspect basic scaffolds prior to handover.

Knowledge, Skills & Experience

The ideal candidate for the role will be able to demonstrate and have knowledge of statutory regulations and safety requirements relating to the erection and dismantling of simple scaffolds, as well as the regulations governing inspection of scaffolds.

Desirable

• Hold a valid CISRS Advanced Scaffold card however not essential - Basic accepted. 
• Be local to site – travel/lodge considered.
