We provide ongoing training and development opportunities to support our employees throughout their careers.

KAEFER UK & Ireland is looking for a creative, organised and proactive Marketing & Communications Assistant to join our Business & Strategy team.

This is a varied, hands-on role supporting both our Marketing and Communications activity. Working closely with the Marketing Manager and Communications Manager, you’ll help bring our people, projects and capabilities to life through engaging content and campaigns.

From creating LinkedIn content and updating our website, to gathering stories from operational sites, supporting employee communications, developing case studies and helping deliver events, no two days will necessarily be the same.

This role offers broad experience across Marketing & Communications within a large and diverse business, including digital marketing, internal communications, content creation, campaigns, events, PR, website management, photography and video.

You’ll have the opportunity to take ownership of your own areas of activity while developing your skills, commercial understanding and professional experience alongside experienced Marketing and Communications managers.

How You Will Make An Impact

  • Supporting marketing campaigns across KAEFER’s sectors, services and business priorities
  • Creating and publishing content across social media, website and internal communication channels
  • Developing content such as case studies, presentations, brochures and employee stories
  • Supporting internal communications and employee engagement campaigns
  • Gathering news, photography, video and stories from teams across the business
  • Supporting PR, awards, partnerships and external communications
  • Helping coordinate industry, customer and internal events
  • Supporting Business Development and operational teams with customer-facing materials
  • Monitoring marketing and communications activity and helping identify opportunities to improve
  • Maintaining content, resources, calendars and activity trackers

What You Will Bring

  • You’ll have a genuine interest in marketing, communications and content creation, with strong written and verbal communication skills and excellent attention to detail.
  • You’ll be organised, proactive and confident working with people across different teams and locations. Creativity, curiosity and the ability to turn information into clear and engaging content are important, as is the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
  • Previous experience in a marketing, communications, content or similar role is desirable, along with experience using social media for business. Familiarity with Microsoft Office and tools such as Canva or Adobe Creative Suite would be beneficial.
  • A degree or relevant qualification is desirable, but practical experience and the right approach are equally valued.
