KAEFER UK and Ireland are seeking skilled and dedicated Thermal Insulation Engineers to join our dynamic team and support a variety of projects throughout the UK. As a Thermal Insulation Engineer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our projects meet the highest standards of quality and safety. Your primary responsibility will be to carry out insulation duties and tasks competently and safely, following all training, skills, and specifications as directed by your supervision.

 

Key Responsibilities:


•    Stripping and Refitting: Efficiently remove and reinstall insulation materials as required, ensuring minimal disruption to the project and maintaining high standards of workmanship.
•    Measurement and Fabrication: Accurately measure and fabricate insulation materials to fit specific project requirements, ensuring precision and adherence to technical specifications.
•    Compliance with Standards: Work diligently to meet insulation standards and specifications, ensuring all tasks comply with the assessment and plan of work.
•    Risk and Method Statements: Follow risk and method statements meticulously to maintain a safe working environment for yourself and your colleagues.
•    Safety Practices: Demonstrate a strong commitment to safety by setting a personal example of good safety practices and encouraging a culture of safety within the team.

 

Qualifications:


•    Experience: Proven experience in thermal insulation engineering, with a solid track record of successfully completing similar projects.
•    Certification: Must hold a TICA (Thermal Insulation Contractors Association) accreditation.
•    Skills: Strong technical skills in stripping, refitting, measuring, and fabricating insulation materials. Ability to work to strict standards and specifications.
•    Safety: Demonstrated understanding of and commitment to health and safety practices in the workplace.
