We are looking for a Project Document Controller to join our Jarrow Fabrication Shop on a permanent basis. You will manage, control, and coordinate all project documentation for HVAC ductwork manufacture, while supporting project engineering activities including the creation and compilation of Lifetime Quality Records (LTQRs).
This role ensures full traceability from raw material through fabrication, inspection, treatment, and final dispatch, in compliance with project specifications (GQAS, CQAP) and applicable standards.
How You Will Make An Impact
• Control all drawings (isometric, fabrication, and as-built) ensuring correct revision status
• Maintain registers for job cards, weld maps, material certs, and inspection records
• Prevent use of superseded drawings on the shop floor
• Manage transmittals to/from EDF, MEH, and internal stakeholders
• Interpret fabrication drawings and specifications for HVAC ductwork
• Support production with job card creation and technical documentation packs
• Coordinate between QC, welding engineers, and production teams
• Assist with technical queries (TQs), concessions, and NCR documentation
• Compile LTQR packs in line with project requirements
• Ensure inclusion of:
- Job cards (completed and signed)
- As-built drawings (reflecting final condition)
- Material certification (EN 10204 3.1)
- Weld maps and weld logs
- NDT reports (VT, DPI, MPI)
- Pickling and passivation reports
• Ensure full traceability from material heat number to installed component
• Manage LTQR submission and client review cycles
• Maintain trackers for LTQR status, missing records, and approvals
• Use Excel systems for reporting and traceability
