We are looking for a Planner to join our team in Govan, Glasgow on a permanent basis.
Based on site, you will be working alongside the Project Manager and operational team to analyse, prepare, modify, administer, interpret, update, advise upon, and share schedules of work on the Type 26 project.

How You Will Make An Impact

• Support the project manager and operational team in the successful planning and control of project delivery utilising a range of planning and reporting tools and techniques.
• Ensure that the project reporting requirements are met for both internal and client
• Work with project team to ensure project schedules are accurately developed and maintained with accurate resource
• Provide guidance and leadership to the project and address planning issues that arise and adapt plan to ensure project delivery
• Support in the production of ever-changing planning scenarios on the site
• Liaise with the clients operational and category management teams and ensure the progress of the project is running to time scales and cost plans agreed
• Preparate and develop effective project planning schedule, reporting tools and project controls using Primavera P6 and excel spreadsheets
• Working collaboratively, develop and maintain client relationships and with the ethos of LEAN and continuous improvement, ensure that the quality of the service (internally and externally) is developed and improved.

What You Will Bring

• Can demonstrate successful project delivery.
• Expert planning and scheduling knowledge.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Proven planning & scheduling thinking and approach.
• Knowledge of NEC3 and its application to the programme.
• Experience of Primavera P6 (minimum intermediate and a relevant qualification)
• Experience working on major construction works packages.
• Working knowledge of CDM and experience in the nuclear industry would be desirable but is not essential
